I went to LA this last weekend to help clean out my late father-in-laws house. His mother, Emma, saved everything, and my father-in-law still had it all! Emma not only saved everything, but on the back of most photos she even wrote the time and place. I just about cried when I saw this album...
....and the 200 postcards it held! Thanks, Emma. They'll remain in safe keeping!
What a wonderful vintage item and a great family heirloom...I have most of my postcards from over the years -- both that I was sent and those I bought as souvenirs.

ReplyDeleteWho better to find these than you. Emma must have made sure that you should be the one to take care of them. Such a beautiful legacy.
