My Favorite Find

Look at this little table for two--made of green metal and woven rattan--the perfect summer combo, don't you think? It has a glass top, and the whole shebang folds down like one of those wirey acrobats that can stuff them selves into a suitcase! I love the heart-shaped chair backs just below the round handle! That's what really makes it my favorite find at the shop this month.

By the way, if you're planning on coming in for this month's sale dates--theirrrrrrrrrrrrr here! AND Starting tomorrow (through Sunday) at 9 AM, we'll be having our annual
PARKING LOT SALE where all the consignors at the shop give up a ton of great stuff outside at reduced prices. This is the yearly event where even I find great items!

Here's the latest painted vintage window I've just finished. The background of old wallpaper can be changed out! Designed to look like a family crest, the English translation of the French words painted in the scroll is "Love Feeds The Song of Hope in My Heart". It's up for grabs at the shop. Tell us "A little birdie sent you" and get it for 10% off!

Gone, Gifts and Give-aways

Last month's sale at the store was fantastic! I think the nice weather and our great finds really drew people in because they were ready to shop, shop, shop! There were so many customers coming in on Saturday, Sunday and Monday asking what they missed on Thursday night's opening that Audrey had the great idea of posting on a board pictures of what they missed! "The one that got away" doesn't apply to just fishing--we find that everyone is always curious to find out about what our other customers bought!

Lots of white and softly muted colored furniture went to a new home. So did a deep red dresser, freshly painted green desk and a sweet pink side table!

Ok, sorry, I'll stop--it's not nice to tease! But, hey, if you've got it (or in this case if you ever HAD it), flaunt it I say! If you like what you see, you may want to keep in mind the sale dates for this month--May 15, 17, 18 & 19th!

But the best thing about April's sale was that I got to get re-acquainted with Farm Lady at "Over Good Ground" She and I had been writing back and forth excitedly about the discovery that we both grew up in the same area, and shared many memories! She came baring gifts--she made me this pin and the envelope it came in with her own two little hands! The pin is made out of a gourd, lace and vintage jewelry

parts. She also gave me some of the lace she used on the envelope, so I can use it on a project of my own--how sweet is THAT??

Lastly, if you read my last post, you might be wondering who won one of the "nest" projects that I made...the winner picked by a random generator (excuse the fancy stationary the names were written on!) , is.......................

REBEKAH!!! Congratulations! Please send me an email with your address, and I'll mail out the one you wanted! Thanks to everyone for your kind comments!
