Accidental Collection

I didn't start out to collect vintage children's books. I hastily grabbed some at a busy estate sale once, and jammed them in my box. Once I got home and actually looked at them, I knew I couldn't part with them! Now I'm hooked... (The oldest one I have is from 1882!)

  4. Aren't the illustrations beautiful? These seem to be in really good shape and the best part is that they are a collection that doesn't take up a lot of space.

1882! That's cool and think of the history that little book carries around in it.

  7. Did I see Happy Jack Squirrel on the
page? Childrens books are a fun
way to visit the past whether 20
years old or 100 years old! Cute!

  8. Makes me want to tear them up (lovingly of course) and frame some of the illustrations or make postcards or something! I guess that's why color copiers were invented:) Thanks for sharing!
